Met this woman at the film where Bergman talks about 11 of his movies. I keep meeting such people time and again: people who’re essentially nutcase, but they do not ever realize this. They make this sophisticated comments about arts, do not bother expressing their attitudes and emotions rather extravagantly, always seek a company among the strangers and as a rule, get shunned as if from lepers… I can’t stop feeling sympathetic to these people. They’re so lonely and annoying… and for some reason in Armenia these are mostly single women. Male weirdos are sort of happy creatures, or even if not happy, sort of without any pretence: if they’re mad, they’re mad, no attempt at hiding egos behind intelligent statements and enthusiastic exclamations.
Really like Sevak's thought "When it becomes possible to buy anything with money, there rises the wish to walk on the water "... well, yes, in majority of cases. This is a nice quote about bourgeoisie, not more. Some are blessed enough to wish for this without the first condition being necessary.
